Fell Race Championship 2009

Fell Racing Safety: Certain Rules apply
with certain races, these are mostly determined by the weather conditions at
the time of the race. All competitors are requested to have on hand,
at each event, full body protective clothing, whistle, map of the area,
compass, and emergency food, ie Mars bar or the like. It is a rare
occasion to use the equipment on these marked local races but carrying them
gives confidence and we are all in the same boat.

Run the Moors Fell Race Grand Prix 2009:
Participating clubs are Rochdale Harriers & AC,
Rossendale Harriers, Radcliffe AC, Middleton Harriers and Saddleworth
Runners. Minimum age 18 for all races 6 miles and over. Best 5
races count.

Good under foot, local and quite traily. |

5 mile/1200 ft. £2.50. Always popular, last evening fell race
